How can I trust a random site on the Internet with my specimens?

Since 1999, tube.tracker has tracked hundreds of millions of specimens for some of the most prestigious medical facilities in North America and Europe. Just as notable, tube.tracker has also handled dozens of specimens in the most rural clinics with the same amount of precision and care. We used to publish public reference lists of our users. The list became unwieldy, but we are happy to match you with existing users of similar size and geography. We believe our users and product can provide much more compelling stories than any slick marketing copy.

I'm a Siemens SpecTrack user. What can you do for me?

Dollar for dollar, SpecTrack was a fantastic product, loved by many. As a loss leader offering from a diagnostic company, SpecTrack was very low-cost. However, it did not receive the active attention and development of a core product. tube.tracker is all we do. We are confident that it is a superior product with superior support. However, we will never be able to compete with Siemen's pricing, but we are certain that you will get superior value for your dollar. We do offer special SpecTrack upgrade pricing and have successfully migrated many SpecTrack sites to tube.tracker. In all cases, users were very pleased with the increased levels of performance, reliability, and functionality. If you are a SpecTrack user looking for a new home, we welcome you and will do all we can to make you comfortable.

Can tube.tracker handle multiple samples with the same ID?

Yes. Users can enter multiple specimens with the same identifier. Every tube entered into tube.tracker is treated as unique, regardless of its identifier.

Do you support my LIS system?

tube.tracker is designed to peacefully coexist with virtually any LIS. For simplicity's (and cost) sake, tube.tracker does not directly integrate with the LIS via interface. It is a standalone system that simply tracks the labeled specimens generated by your LIS.

Do I need to enter all of my racks, even if they are empty?

Not at all. The power in tube.tracker is that you do not need to keep tabs on your racks any longer. When adding a new rack of tubes to the system, simple pick up the next available rack and start entering.

Do we need special hardware to use tube.tracker?

tube.tracker does not require any special hardware. It was designed to run on existing assets utilizing internet browsers and barcode scanners already in place.

Can our lab use one account for the sake of simplicity?

Yes, if your institution's policies allow it, a single account can be used for tube.tracker but we advise against it. You lose the powerful tracking features of tube.tracker when each user does not have their own account.

Is a credit card required for the trial?

No. We do not require a credit card for the trial. Just use the signup form and we'll e-mail you instructions to get started.

Will I be notified before my trial ends?

Yes. After signup, we'll send you an e-mail guiding you though the setup process. After setup you'll be tracking tubes more efficiently than ever.

What if I purchase before my trial is over?

Easy, we seamlessly upgrade your account so you continue using tube.tracker like normal. We'll still give you the remainder of your free trial without charge.

Will I be pestered by a pushy salesman?

No. Our product speaks for itself. We believe that the simplicity and easy to use and understand interface will sell itself. We will respect your wishes and contact you as little or as much as you want.

Can I cancel my trial before it is over?

Yes. You can cancel at any time with no obligation.

What does tube.tracker cost?

Our pricing is largely dependent on the size of your facility and usage. Please contact us about your specific needs and we'll get you a customized quote. You can also visit our cost calculators to get an idea of FTE Savings. We're not trying to be cute and trap you into a high-pressure sales cycle. We service such a huge range of laboratories, it's difficult to post our fee schedule. For most sites, pricing generally falls into the hundreds of dollars per month range.

My lab has a small volume of daily specimens. Is tube.tracker right for us?

Absolutely. Tube.tracker scales from the lowest volume labs to labs that do more than 30 thousand specimens per day. We've recently worked with Siemens to provide transition services and pricing for their SpecTrack users. This has required us to formulate pricing and support for even the smallest labs.

We wish to track specimens from our remote draw stations and select doctor offices. Can tube.tracker handle this setup?

The flexibility of tube.tracker enables it to accommodate to almost any situation. Not only can tube.tracker work in this situation, it excels. We have developed functionality called the Specimen Validator that provides shipping manifests, tube-by-tube verification and tracking, missing/additional tube management, and persistent, printable logging.

Our lab stores specimens in a freezer for long periods of time. What is the retention period for tracking specimens in tube.tracker?

You can store specimens in tube.tracker indefinitely. There is no cap on storage. tube.tracker can also remind you when those long-term specimens have expired.
